Managing Director
Jarle has been with Spar from the very beginning in 1995; help building the company from scratch. First as CFO and from autumn 2007 also as CEO for the company. He holds a Msc in Management Science and Operational Research from University of Warwick, England.
Chartering Director
Morten has been working as a shipbroker within the handymax/supramax segment since 1994, first in Singapore and for more than 20 years in Bergen. He holds a degree in international shipping and trading from The London School of Maritime Studies.
Chartering Manager
Stein has been working within operation and chartering in the dry bulk segment since 2003. He holds a degree in Logistic / economy studies from HIB Bergen.
Operator
Operation Manager
In charge of operational activities for the vessels as well as matters related to marine accounting. Arild holds a BA from the Norwegian school of Management, Bergen. He has experience from a variety of positions ranging from Ship Agency, Offshore Marine Operations, Crew Management and dry bulk operation.
S&P and Projects
Thomas has background as business controller before he joined a major commodity trader in Hong Kong. From 2012 to 2017 he worked as a S&P broker in Bergen. He is educated at Norwegian School of Management and Royal Norwegian Naval Academy. Thomas handles S&P and projects.
Head Accountant
Marianne held various positions related to accounting within the overall corporate structure of Spar before advancing to the position of Head accountant for Spar Shipping AS at the autumn of 2007. She holds a Cand Mag. degree from University of Bergen.
Marine accountant
Emelie handles and follow-up financial activities for the vessels, which includes follow up of hire statements, general accounting as well as some of the operational activities. She holds a BA from Norwegian school of Management, Oslo and has experience since 1996 from several major shipping companies and brokerage houses in Norway.
